5. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

Treatment 3 – Honey With Beaten Egg:

1. Mix two tablespoons of honey with a beaten egg white.

2. Apply thinly to the skin and allow it to dry.

Treatment 4 – Honey and Almond:

1. Combine one-half cup of almond meal and enough honey to form a thick paste.

2. Scrub the face with the paste, paying special attention to oily areas.

3. Leave on for a few minutes.

4. Remove with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.

1. Blend two tablespoons of finely ground raw almonds with one tablespoon of honey and one-half tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.

2. Rub the paste gently into the skin. 

3. Rinse with warm water.

Treatment 6 – Honey, Egg, Glycerin and Flour: 

1. With a fork, beat together one egg white, one tablespoon of honey, and one teaspoon of glycerin.

2. Add just enough flour to form a paste.

3. Smooth the paste over the face and throat.

4. Leave on for ten minutes while relaxing.

5. Rinse off with warm water.

For Skin Nutrition and Moisturizing

Treatment 1 

1. Take one-half cup of milk and add one peeled and mashed avocado, one cooked carrot (mashed), and three tablespoons of honey.

2. Mix together and use as a masque on the face and neck.

3. Leave on for fifteen minutes. Wash with lukewarm water.

Treatment 2 

1. Take one ripe banana and mash.

2. Add one tablespoon of milk or cream, one tablespoon of honey, and the yolk of one egg.

3. Mix thoroughly. Apply as a masque on the face and neck. Leave on for fifteen minutes.

4. Wash with lukewarm water.

Treatment 3 

1. Mix one teaspoon of almond oil, one tablespoon of honey, and one-quarter teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.

2. Rub the mixture into hands, elbows, feet, or anywhere your skin feels dry. Leave on for ten minutes.

3. Remove with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.

Treatment 4 

1. Take one tablespoon of sweet almond oil and two tablespoons of honey. Mix together.

2. Carefully wash the face and then apply to the skin.

3. Allow remaining for thirty minutes while relaxing. Remove with a soft cloth and lukewarm water.

Treatment 5 

1. Take one-half cup of instant oatmeal and add four teaspoons of honey.

2. Mix well adding more honey to achieve a smooth consistency.

3. Spread over the face and allow to stand for thirty minutes.

4. Wash off with warm water and then rinse with cold water to tighten pores.

Honey for Skin Lotion

To make a simple skin lotion, take one teaspoon of honey, three ounces of glycerin, one and one-half ounces of lemon juice, one ounce of rubbing alcohol, and two ounces of rose water. Place in a bottle. Seal and shake vigorously. Apply to the skin as needed.

Raw honey for Face Cream

 For simple face cream, combine one teaspoon of honey with one well-beaten egg white and a few drops of almond oil. Mix together until you get a smooth cream. Use as needed.

To make medium-soft hand cream, blend one teaspoon of rose water with one teaspoon of olive oil, two tablespoons of honey, and two and one-half tablespoons of almond meal. Thicken with cornstarch or arrowroot if too thin. Rub well into hands as needed.

2. Mix together thoroughly and apply to chapped lips once in the morning and once in the evening. 

3. Allow to stand for ten minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Treatment 2 – Honey Lemon Juice:

1. Take two tablespoons of honey and add two tablespoons of lemon juice and two tablespoons of cologne.

2. Blend together and apply to lips when needed.

Honey Treatments for the Hair

Following are two recipes that can be used on the scalp before you wash your hair.

Balsam for Dry Hair

1. Take one tablespoon of honey and three tablespoons of olive oil (you can prepare more if you have long hair.

2. Remember to use one part honey for every three parts olive oil) and mix ingredients in a cup or glass and allow to sit for twenty-four hours.

3. Before using, mix again, then apply to the hair, being sure to massage thoroughly into the scalp with circular movements to stimulate blood circulation.

4. Cover the hair with a plastic shower cap and wait for thirty minutes.

5. Finally, wash with lukewarm water and rinse several times; rinse the final time with a little vinegar or lemon juice.

Honey Cap

1. Take one-half cup of raw honey and apply directly to wet hair.

2. Allow it to penetrate to the scalp by gentle circular massage.

3. Cover hair with a plastic shower cap and relax for twenty minutes.

4. Rinse hair with lukewarm water and then shampoo as usual.

Honey for Hair Shine

This recipe can be used either by those who wish to use shampoo in addition to honey or who choose not to use shampoo at all. In addition to promoting the general health of the hair and scalp, honey cleans as well.

1. Add one teaspoon of honey and one-quarter teaspoon of fresh lemon juice to one quart of lukewarm water.

2. Mix. Shampoo as usual and then pour the mixture through the hair. Do not rinse; dry as normal.
